Shine & Dine is for women 40+ who are growing a business they love and are ready to be more visible and known. Women who understand that real growth comes from community and connection, not another hour alone at the laptop.

Because business was never meant to be a solo sport. It grows through the people who know you, champion you, and think of you first when someone needs exactly what you do. And no one does that better than like-minded women on the same path.

Imagine sitting around a table with other women who want to see you succeed as much as you do. Having honest conversations about the highs and the lows, the wins and the wobbles - with plenty of laughs thrown in.

Come join us. Get your seat at the table, and you'll walk away with new women in your corner.

People are craving connection right now. Real, face-to-face, phone-down connection. But let’s be honest. When you’re a 40+ woman running a business, your time is spend flat out at your desk, ticking things off the list. Outside of that, you're managing your kids and ageing parents and making sure there's food in the fridge. When you do finally get a spare hour to yourself, you spend it on the couch, scrolling and watching TV to take your mind off work. None of that's wrong - it just means that getting into a room with other women never makes the list.

Here’s the thing... when your business relies on being known, community isn’t a nice-to-have. It’s one of the best ways to become known. It’s where the referrals, the collaborations and the “you need to meet [insert your name]” come from. And it does wonders for your confidence too, because it’s so much easier to back yourself when you've got a community of women backing you too.

So this is your nudge to be intentional about it. Put the date in the diary, put the phone down, and get in the room.

Community is the most underrated visibility strategy there is

ARRIVE & SETTLE IN
01
Head upstairs to our private dining room, grab a glass of champagne and let the nerves melt away. Every face in the room will feel a little familiar, because you’ll have already met them on paper.
QUICK CONVOS
02
My version of speed networking, and often everyone’s favourite part of the night. It’s fast, it’s fun, and you’ll meet more women in fifteen minutes than you would in a whole night of hovering near the bar.
Dinner
Four courses of delicious shared plates, including seat swaps so you can connect with more than just the women sitting next to you (even though you won't want to leave them!).
03
HEAD HOME GLOWING
04
Head home to bed so glad you put the phone down and got in the room. The connections you made will stay with you (and keep paying you back) long after you’ve forgotten those Instagram memes.
You won’t walk in cold
BEFORE THE NIGHT
The week before the dinner, I’ll send you two things.
guest profiles
A snapshot of every woman coming. Not only will you know what to expect, you'll also know who to expect. Circle the women you want to meet and bring it along on the night.
INTRO guide
So many of us stumble over our intro. It can feel uncomfortable talking about yourself and no one wants to sound like a 'pitch'. If that's you, you'll love this.

WHO IT'S FOR
This is for you if…
• You’re a woman 40+ running a service-based business, and you’re done being the best-kept secret in your industry.
• You’d rather have five real conversations than collect fifty business cards.
• You know the right women in your corner will refer you, champion you, and say your name in rooms you’re not in.
• You’re ready to use your voice more, even if it can still feel uncomfortable.
• You love good food, a glass of bubbles, and great conversations.

It’s not for you if…
• You’re coming to hard-sell, recruit or hand out flyers.
• You’re hoping to sit quietly in the corner all night. (If you do, we’ll gently coax you out, promise.)
• You’re after a big, buzzy room of hundreds. These dinners are kept small on purpose.

WHAT WOMEN SAY
SARAH P
“I never really saw many examples of women who were in their 40s, 50s, 60s doing great things… And what I loved, attending your event, is I was speaking to so many women who were starting businesses, writing books, creating events, which is just so inspiring for me.”
NIKKI B
“I’ve been to a lot of networking functions over the past 7 years and a lot of them are hit and miss… I find all of the women that attend your dinners are there for all of the right reasons and are always super lovely to talk to.”

Hi, I'm Fi! Business & Visibilty coach, award-winning personal branding photographer, founder of the Shine Bright Mastermind, and your host for the night.

For over 20 years, I’ve been helping women in business step out from behind the scenes and get visible, booked and paid. I’m also a foodie at heart who loves to celebrate - you'll never find me saying no to a glass of champagne. So bringing women together over a beautiful dinner is my happy place.

I held my first Shine & Dine in December 2020, and these dinners have been growing and evolving ever since, with hundreds of women joining me along the way. The format has changed here and there but the reason behind them hasn’t. In a digital world where it’s so easy to feel isolated in business, real connection should never be the thing that slips away. These dinners are my way of making sure it doesn’t.

GETTING THERE
Your questions answered
FAQs
Absolutely, most women do. You'll be connected with other women as soon as you arrive, so you'll only be on your own for a few seconds.
Can I come on my own?
Of course - we'd love you to pass on the details to anyone you think would love it! Just make sure each person books a ticket, so we have their details and any dietary requirements before the night.
Can I bring a friend?
Yes. You will be able to include this info at checkout.
Do you cater for dietary requirements?
Unfortunately not. The private dining room is upstairs and only reachable by stairs, with no lift. I searched far and wide for an appropriate venue that was accessible, and it just wasn’t possible this time.
Is the venue accessible?
A drink on arrival and four course dinner. Additional drinks can be purchased from the upstairs bar attached to our private dining space.
What’s included in my ticket?
Absolutely. We usually sit down to eat around 45 minutes after the start time. Anything you miss can be made up for across the rest of the evening. (And we'd love you to clear your calendar so you can make the most of the night.)
Can I turn up late?
Dinner will wrap up between 8.30 and 9.00pm. Feel free to leave if you're ready to head home and hit bed. However, we have access to the venue until 10.30 so I'll be there with anyone keen to stay on (there are always a few of us!).
What time does it finish?
There's no strict dress code. Some women come straight from work while others have more time to get ready, so feel free to wear your favourite trainers and blazer or something more glam. That said, I'd love you to use this opportunity to shine both inside and out! What does that mean? Well, maybe this could be the night you finally wear the dress that’s been waiting in your wardrobe, or the sparkly top you avoid because you think it might be a bit 'too much'. There's only one rule to follow: wear what makes you feel good!
What's the dress code?
Refunds are available up until Thursday 5th November. There are no refunds after this date however you're welcome to transfer your ticket to a friend. If you do, it's important you email support@fimimsphotography.com.au with her contact details and any dietary requirements.
